BNI Western PA: Vice-President
Considering the Vice-President role is a great opportunity to grow as a leader, strengthen your visibility within the chapter, and make a meaningful impact on the chapter's success, as well as your own. The responsibilities of the Vice-President are listed below in three different categories: Good, Better, and Best.
The responsibilities listed as Good are considered to be the minimum requirements for fulfilling the role of Vice-President. For those Vice-Presidents wanting to help grow their leadership skills and network with other Vice-Presidents, those responsibilities are highlighted in the Better section. Finally, for those Vice-Presidents wanting to strive for their chapter's greatest potential, those opportunities are listed in the Best section.
Good (Minimum Requirements)
The minimum requirements for serving as a BNI Western PA Chapter Vice-President are:
- Completing the BNI Western PA training as outlined in the Committment Form
- Being prepared to run the chapter meeting according to the BNI Agenda if the President is absent
- Preparing and delivering or delegating a complete Vice President and Membership Committee report
- Tracking attendance and submitting an accurate PALMS report within 2 business days of the meeting
- Recognizing Members using Notable Networker Certificates or other awards
- Conducting a brief weekly Membership Committee check-in after the chapter meeting
- Participating in a monthly call with the Senior Director Consultant assigned to your chapter (with your officers)
Better
To achieve the Better Level of BNI Western PA Chapter Vice-President:
- Helping to develop and report on Chapter Goals
- Attending the Monthly Regional Networking and Support Zoom Call and training opportunities as offered by BNI Western PA
- Reviewing monthly reports and records with other officers and Senior Director Consultant
Best
To achieve the Best Level of BNI Western PA Chapter Vice-President:
- Scheduling, helping the President host, and facilitating the second half of the Chapter Success Meeting
